Discovering Heshun Ancient Town

#favouriteitinerary A while ago, I visited Heshun Ancient Town, known for its rich heritage blending Central Plains, Western, Nanzhao, and border cultures. This ecological cultural village in Yunnan was a delightful experience. With a 55 RMB ticket, I explored the twin arch Shuanghong Bridge over a lotus pond, creating stunning reflections in the morning mist. The Heshun Library, built in 1928, showcased handwritten letters from famous figures. The Laundering Pavilion, built during the Qing Dynasty, was a unique cultural landmark. The stone-paved streets required comfortable shoes, and protecting the ancient buildings was essential. Heshun Ancient Town’s cultural richness and historical beauty made it an unforgettable visit.
