Blue Church

I heard about a tourist spot in Chanthaburi called the Blue Church, and I thought it must be a beautiful Christian church. But when I arrived, I realized it was actually the entrance to a temple! The Blue Church is located at Wat Khaem Pak Nu in Tha Mai District. The entire church is adorned in intricate Thai-style blue patterns, and it’s absolutely stunning. Inside, there is a principal Buddha statue. When I visited, the temple hadn’t yet completed the ceremony of embedding the sacred boundary stones. The surrounding area, including items like the gong, is also decorated in blue. After paying respects to the Buddha, I took some photos. Every angle is picture-perfect! Outside the church, there’s a small souvenir market where you can buy seafood or local fruits to take home. The temple has plenty of parking spaces. If you’re visiting the beaches in Chanthaburi, make sure to stop by Wat Khaem Nu to see the Blue Church.
