Oh yes, I am not alone for that smell of moo ping always lure me to grab a stick or three. Known as moo ping in Thailand, these grilled pork skewers are a popular street dish. Thin slices of fatty pork butt are marinated, skewered, and grilled over charcoal. As the pork cooks, it's coated with unsweetened coconut cream to keep it moist and add a creamy richness to counteract the marinade's fish sauce punch. Moo Ping merchants sell all day, but they are most active in the early and late afternoon. I'd have it for breakfast or as a snack in the afternoon.
