Thai-Lao That Phanom Market

A small district with a sacred place of worship and known to people all over Thailand is Phra That Phanom. That Phanom District is located in Nakhon Phanom Province and borders the Mekong River, where you can see the opposite bank of Laos. Every Monday and Thursday morning there is a market open for people from both countries to trade freely. It is called the Thai-Lao Market or Tha Dan Market. It consists of many different products from both countries, whether they are plants, exotic fruits, or insects.
