But the place we're going to is not just that, because we're going to 'E-Tong Village' in Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province. E-Tong Village 🏘️ Everyone has probably heard of the village of 8 rains and 4 suns or the land of 399 curves, which we tried to count but no matter how many times we counted, we felt like falling asleep every time. 🥱 A village in a valley with cool weather all year round, no matter what season it is. The time we went was the rainy season 🌧️ It made us see what we wanted to see: fog alternating with rain all day long!! So refreshing (sometimes I secretly think, stop for a moment, my clothes are all damp 😂) The charm of this place is the rain and fog. ☁ In addition to the good atmosphere, The villagers are friendly. The vendors are polite (that we met). There are many things to sell here, just like the accommodation, but the view may not be the same. Those who come here must make a reservation in advance. But if you are a camper, there is a tent site next to the village 🏕️ (If I remember correctly, it should be a horn field). As for those who are into photography, I assure you that you will not be disappointed. You may get tired of taking pictures. Or if you are bored, this village has a koi pond🐟 for us to feed them. If that is not enough, there are many nearby attractions such as the Pilok Old Mine, the Mine Bridge, Jok Kradin Waterfall, Pilok Temple, the Mine Shop (Pilok Cake), or Thong Pha Phum National Park.
