Dule Temple.

Built in the Sui Dynasty and rebuilt in the Liao Dynasty, Dule Temple in Jizhou, Tianjin is famous for its ancient architecture, clay sculptures, and murals. The murals in the Guanyin Pavilion were painted in the Yuan Dynasty and repainted in the Ming Dynasty. The murals are 3.15 meters high, 45.35 meters long, and cover a total area of 142.85 square meters. The murals depict the Sixteen Arhats and two Ming Kings, as well as Buddhist myths, secular themes, and portraits of believers who helped repair the temple. The paintings mainly use "iron wire drawing" and orchid leaf drawing, with outlines filled with color and appropriate shading. The figures are accurately shaped and the lines are smooth. The Arhats and Ming Kings on the four walls surround the Eleven-faced Guanyin statue in the center, creating a solemn and sacred Buddhist world and showing the painter's ingenious design. The Guanyin Pavilion is ingeniously designed, with the entire structure built around the giant Guanyin statue in the center. The 28 pillars are arranged in two orderly circles, with beams and brackets forming a whole, giving the building great earthquake resistance. The brackets come in 24 different styles depending on their position, making the building even more majestic and magnificent. The Guanyin Pavilion currently preserves three plaques from different dynasties: "Guanyin Pavilion" written by the great Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai, "Pumen Fragrant World" written by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, and "Complete and Perfect" written by Emperor Xianfeng of the Qing Dynasty.
