Outside of Tokyo, this was our first visit to the Tohoku region of Honshu, Japan. It's full of history and beautiful scenery. And the foxes in the fox village are very cute.

We took a 10-day self-driving tour in Northeast Japan, from Miyagi Prefecture (Sendai) to Yamagata Prefecture, Akita Prefecture, Aomori Prefecture, Iwate Prefecture, and back to Miyagi Prefecture (Sendai).
