As a traveler who loves to travel and feel the rhythm of flying, the first impression that Central Japan International Airport (Centrair) gave me was: "Easy, convenient and design-oriented"! Located on an artificial island off the Chita Peninsula, it only takes about 28 minutes to take the airport express "μ-SKY" from downtown Nagoya, and it is super smooth to replenish before traveling or return. Airport highlights: Food gathering: I always try Nagoya's desserts and snacks first, such as miso soup cakes and Ebi Tendon, to relive the taste of travel before boarding the plane ✨. Souvenir paradise: More than 30 shops cover snacks, crafts, and local sake, such as the Hatcho miso series and beer desserts are super popular, and it is easy to take a bag full home. Good viewing spot: The airport's Sky Deck observation deck is free to enter, and you can watch the planes take off and land up close and overlook the blue Mikawa Bay sea view from afar. It is my favorite "farewell corner" at the last stop of my trip. Traveler-friendly facilities: water dispensers, luggage storage, automatic translation machines, massage chairs are all available, allowing people to rest well whether they are leaving or just getting off the plane. Unlike some metropolitan airports, this place is not as busy as some big city airports. Instead, you can feel the calmness and delicacy of the Central Region. Check in, eat delicious food, and finally take a few photos of the plane ready to go, just like the whole journey has been perfectly concluded.
