📍Usa Hachiman Shrine Usa Hachiman Shrine is the local guardian deity, located away from the main road. It is not a very famous shrine, so in fact, most people do not know that you can get a goshuin (red seal) here. There is a parking lot near the sign of Usa Hachiman Shrine, but it is a parking lot for Saidaji Temple, so you cannot use it. If you pass it and go further in, you will find a plaza just before the worship hall, where you can park about 7 to 8 cars. There is no parking fee. According to the timeline, the worship hall of Usa Hachiman Shrine was built in 1842 (Tenpo 13), so it has quite a history. In 1979 (Showa 54), the shrine parishioners came together to carry out their long-awaited renovation. The colorful paintings that fill the ceiling may have been donated at the time of the renovation.
