Western-Style House in Tokyo

#tokyo Hatoyama Hall or Otowa Castle is named after the former Prime Minister of Japan, Ichiro Hatoyama. The house was built in 1924 by Hatoyama's friend, architect Okada Shinichi. Nowadays, the Hatoyama Hall serves as museum to commemorate Hatoyama's family contributions in Japan on terms of politics and education. There are 3 main rooms that are dedicated to Ichiro Hatoyama, his wife and his son. The Hatoyama hall is very popular and often used as location for shooting dramas, commercials, and films. The entrance fee is JPY600 (please note that they only take cash!), and opens from 10:00 until 16:00 from Tuesday-Sunday.
