🌳Hachiman-gu, a small shrine in Yoyogi Park

🎋 While walking around Yoyogi Park, you will come across a small sacred place called Yoyogi Hachimangu Shrine! Yoyogi was named after the area with many fir trees since the Meiji and Edo periods! Maybe that’s why there are so many fir trees around this spot. It is said to be a famous shrine in Tokyo when you visit for the New Year or to make a wish! It seems to be a place that answers prayers well! There were many red Japanese flags and the shrine was decorated and maintained in a cute way. The entrance to Hachimangu Shrine is also a grand entrance composition, so it is easy to find. At Hachimangu Shrine, you can enjoy historical statues and sculptures along with lush nature.! 🇯🇵 I recommend stopping by at least once when you are in Tokyo during the New Year.
