[Iki Shrine/Tokyo] A beautiful shrine with falling cherry blossoms

Igi Shrine in Shinagawa, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 In the early Edo period, it was moved to its current location on higher ground to avoid flooding of the Meguro River. It was originally called "Kijinomiya", but when it was moved, Kifune Myojin, Kasuga Myojin, Kogongen, and Inari Myojin from the village were also enshrined. As a result, it was called "Gosha Myojin". In 1872 (Meiji 5), it became the current Igi Shrine! When you arrive at the shrine, there are stone steps in front of you, and if you go up, you will see a Yoshino cherry tree 🌸 in the back on your left! It is sticking out with flowers, covering the fairly large branch of the approach to the shrine! When the transparent petals dance in the wind, it is simply amazing.
