Royal Park Hotel Nihonbashi, Tokyo, the main gate of Edo Castle, was built as a result of Tokugawa Ieyasu's large-scale landfill and urban development plan. Merchants and artisans from all over Japan, especially from Ise, Omi, and Kyoto, gathered here, making it one of Japan's largest commercial districts. Takuya Kimura's *Masquerade Hotel*, which opens with a suspected serial murder case, tells the story of a professional hotelier, Naomi Yamagishi (Masami Nagasawa), and detective Kosuke Nitta (Takuya Kimura), working together to solve the case. The two actors vividly portray the internationally acclaimed Japanese craftsman spirit, and the hotel featured in the novel is based on the Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Nihonbashi, known for its outstanding service.
