#HawaiiAirlineEvent This is an old cafe that opened in 1965, and former singer Hideki Nishijo was also a regular. I saw it in a local Japanese magazine and fell in love with it, so I added it to my itinerary. As a result, it became the most memorable moment of this trip. Cafe Toronto is a 30-second walk from Iriya Station (入谷駅) on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. It is easy to access, so you can see it right after exiting the station, making it a perfect walking date course. The exterior is a typical Japanese ‘pure cafe’ style. The antique signboard with a 60s feel and the tile decoration at the entrance stimulate the desire to take pictures. The interior is like a movie set! Especially, thanks to the large relief sculpture and soft lighting, I felt like I was time traveling from the moment I entered. We visited for lunch and brunch and ordered pasta. Surprisingly, this place is famous not only for coffee but also for its delicious pasta. • Bolognese Spaghetti: The rich and deep meat sauce soaks into the noodles, creating a great savory flavor. It’s not too salty, and the old-style Japanese spaghetti feel is appealing. • Carbonara: Soft and rich flavor. The whipped cream isn’t too much, so I enjoyed it until the end without feeling heavy.
