A 3-night, 4-day emotional journey capturing the essence of Tokyo Enoshima, Kamakura, Shibuya, Sensoji, and Tokyo Tower ⸻ Day 1 — Arrival in Tokyo & Night Stroll in Shibuya After arriving at the airport and checking into the accommodation, I headed straight to Shibuya. As soon as I reached the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of people and the dazzling neon signs! I stopped by a Monjayaki restaurant for dinner, and the sizzling aroma from the hot iron plate is still unforgettable. At night, I took a stroll to Tokyo Tower—its night view was absolutely breathtaking. ⸻ Day 2 — Enoshima & Kamakura via Enoden Train On this day, I decided to venture a bit further and took the Enoden train to Enoshima, filled with the scent of the sea! I met some cats, visited the lighthouse, and climbed up to the shrine—the view was truly spectacular. In Kamakura, I admired the Great Buddha (Daibutsu) and enjoyed a peaceful walk at a temple. It was a day filled with tranquility, offering a stark contrast to the bustling city. ⸻ Day 3 — Sensoji, Asakusa & Ueno Tour In the morning, I visited Sensoji! Experiencing the traditional Japanese architecture, the scent of incense, and the bustling crowd gave me a glimpse of another side of Japan. I also stopped by Tsukiji Market nearby for a plate of fresh sushi—delicious! In the afternoon, I strolled through Ueno Park to wrap up the day leisurely. Ueno Zoo was surprisingly spacious, and the adorable animals were pure healing.
