Tokyo Anime Center in DNP Plasa Shibuya - Bungou Stray Dogs Exhibition

As a big fan of Bungou Stray Dogs, I was really excited to find out that during my visit to Tokyo, the Tokyo Anime Center in DNP Plaza Shibuya was holding a special exhibition dedicated to the series. The entrance ticket was 2,000 yen, which felt a bit expensive at first. The exhibition included a small activity map with tasks to complete as you walked through. The walls were filled with printed visuals from the anime, along with detailed descriptions of the main characters. It wasn't a large or high-tech exhibit it was more like a themed gallery but still, seeing everything up close made me really happy. If you complete the little search activity, you get a character card as a gift. You could choose your favorite one, so of course, I picked Dazai Osamu, who’s been my favorite character for a long time. That made the whole visit feel special. Even though the price felt high for what's mostly a room of printed anime visuals, I still enjoyed it a lot because of my connection to the series. It was meaningful for me, and I’d definitely recommend it to other fans. The Tokyo Anime Center regularly hosts different exhibitions for various anime titles. There's also an anime goods shop right next to the exhibition space. It sells exclusive merchandise related to whatever series is currently being featured so it’s worth checking in advance to see which anime is on display when you visit. If you’re a fan, and especially if your favorite anime is being featured, I think it’s worth the visit.
