Japan Tulip Fair

#japan #toyama #tonami This is the Tonami Tulip Park situated in Toyama prefecture. An annual Tulip flower festival is held here. The fair lasts for two weeks from late April to early May and showcases around three million tulips of all colors and varieties. From Takaoka Station or Shin-Takaoka Station, take the JR Johana Line to Tonami Station (approx 20 minutes). During the duration of the fair, free shuttle buses run frequently between the station and the tulip park. There are also small museums and playground for children in the park.
