Taking a countryside trip is also a great choice~ 🚩 Sancun Village (Tongxiang) Before liberation, Sancun Village was originally called Sanbao Village, formed by the merger of three adjacent villages - Liubao, Qibao, and Jiubao - prior to liberation... In 2019, it transformed abandoned pickled mustard tuber cellars into a viral rural park, and in 2023 it was selected as one of Zhejiang Province's Beautiful and Livable Demonstration Villages... -- Currently under Gaogiao Subdistrict of Tongxiang City, about 10km from downtown... Navigation location: "Yangshang Renjia" with free parking Highlights of Sancun Village: 💐 Hydrangea Exhibition (mid-to-late May) The hydrangeas are almost past their bloom now... It's said flowers were sold at reasonable prices during the exhibition... 🌱 Artistic Farmhouses Featuring homestays, Silkworm Paradise, wood-fired bread, coffee, bamboo rafts, etc. -- Silkworm Paradise includes camping/BBQ, wild rice cooking, children's play area -- The bread here isn't baked in ovens but in brick wood-fired ovens...reportedly using natural sandalwood as fuel... We came with high expectations and waited quite a while... But by 11am the bread still wasn't ready, so we gave up and left...a bit disappointing... Saw children participating in bread-making workshops (likely paid programs, details unclear)... PS: The baker was quite friendly, but the front desk staff...well, let's just say the service attitude left something to be desired... The surrounding village paths are also worth exploring - you'll see many fruit trees, vegetable gardens, and other novel sights~ -- As for photo spots, everywhere is picturesque in its own way~
