South of France | Toulon Port City Day Trip ⚓️

#summervacay After spending a night in Orange, I took a train to the French naval port city, Toulon — about 3 hours, with a transfer in Marseille (side note: Marseille’s transport system is... a bit of a letdown 🙃). I had two days in Toulon. On the first morning, I strolled around the port area and hopped on one of those super touristy little trains to get a quick city overview (sometimes cheesy, but fun!). Around 1 PM, I avoided the lunch crowd and headed to La Poissonnerie for a meal. Since I was dining alone, the kind staff suggested I try two different types of oysters — and honestly, I usually find oysters a bit off-putting, but these were incredibly fresh and delicious! 🦪 For the main course, I had shrimp, which was decent, though nothing too surprising. #toulon #southoffrance
