Korankei, a beautiful place to see autumn leaves in Japan

Korankei, Korankei Gorge is another one of the most beautiful spots to see the changing leaves in Japan. If you are going to visit Chubu, you should not miss it. Korankei is located in Toyotashi City, Aichi Prefecture, not far from Nagoya. To get there, you can take the train to Toyota City and then take the bus. On this trip, we drove from Nagoya for about 1 hour (during peak season or on weekends, it may take longer because of traffic jams). When you arrive at Korankei, you will see a row of changing leaves along the river and a red bridge, a tunnel of changing trees. We can walk around and take beautiful pictures to our hearts' content. Everywhere you walk is beautiful. There are many restaurants inside. There are shows by smart monkeys, suitable for families. There are also temples and shrines inside. The time we went was November 15, 2016, which was not yet peak season (normally in other years, this time is already peak season, but this year, the cold was late, so it peaked later as well).
