This lovely province, Udon Thani

Review of Udon Thani from the perspective of a first-time visitor for 3 days and 2 nights. I would like to say that I was very impressed. The first impression made me guess the overall picture of the trip, starting from the staff at the car rental counter - the staff exchanging the airport parking card who talked to Lin in a very friendly manner. Before traveling, Lin watched a clip in which he said that he was a person from another province who was transferred to work in Udon. From this province where he worked until now, he has been living here for ten years and will not go anywhere else. He said with full confidence that this is home... When traveling by myself, Lin thinks that Lin understands the owner of the clip. . From Lin's perspective, Lin likes Isaan food. There is a variety of delicious food here. The prices are not too high. Even the restaurants that are decorated well and luxuriously have reasonable prices. Most of them are generous and give a lot of food in large plates. It feels like a kind person... This time in Udon, I intended to come to eat. But while looking for a place to walk to digest, I also went to walk around the city. Nong Prajak is very clear. It is a lively spot and shows the enviable quality of life of Udon people. . In fact, this province has many public parks or places to relax. Nong Prajak Yellow Duck is the main one. It is a very good park, where you can do a variety of activities, such as walking, running, cycling, drawing, and a playground. All of them are around a large pond. The management is also conducive to people using the area because there is enough free parking and it looks safe even if you go in the evening or early morning. They have divided the traffic zones to be convenient for both parkgoers and other road users, so there is hardly any disturbance. There are shops that clearly divide the areas for trading. The surrounding atmosphere is clean, tidy, and shady. There are quite a few big trees along the road. It is a clean province (Lin read that some places have removed electric poles, but Lin could not find them). The city is quite large, and the places to eat and visit are not crowded. Lin went on a holiday, and the places where I thought I would be competing to go were not as crowded as I thought. The roads are good, and there are no trucks/big vehicles running on the main roads, while in Bangkok, there are 2 out of 3 lanes of dirt trucks and big trucks. The only thing I am not used to is that it is a province with 4-way intersections, 5-way intersections, many roundabouts, and frequent red lights. What is exciting is that there is only one red light that tells you to go straight and turn, and being the first car in the line will be pressured. 😅 . Another thing I like and want every province to be like this is that they control their own province's theme very well, especially Mueang District. Most government buildings are yellow with orange roofs, looking vintage but not shabby or out of date. Wherever there are decorative patterns, they will use Ban Chiang pottery patterns. Seeing this reminds me of Kumamoto, where the whole city is Kumamon. I wish each province in Thailand would promote tourists by controlling the theme from each province's good things like that. Actually, each province is cute and different, but Udon Thani is quite strong in terms of provincial identity.
