Hiking Goheonsan

#summervacay Decided to hit up Goheonsan in Ulsan (yep, in Gyeongsangnam-do!), and it seriously delivered. This mountain’s got a little bit of everything, rugged trails, shady forest paths, and then BAM, rocky ridgelines with killer views. The climb is moderate but throws in some steep sections that’ll definitely get your heart pumping. Nothing too scary though, just enough to feel like you earned those summit pics. What I loved most? The trail isn’t packed like some of the more famous spots, so it’s got this peaceful, untouched vibe. The rocks near the top look super dramatic, like something out of an old Korean legend. And on a clear day, the views stretch way out to the ocean. Total photo op. There are a few rest stops along the way where you can catch your breath, snack, and soak in the silence. If you’re in the Ulsan area and want a solid half-day hike with big rewards, Goheonsan’s totally worth the sweat.
