Conquer the Sam Muen Mountains and conquer the Preto Lor Su Waterfalls

Preto Lor Su Waterfall, or what we call the heart-shaped waterfall, is located in Umphang District, Tak Province. It is another waterfall with beautiful waterfalls with two streams flowing together, forming a heart shape. It is another thing that nature has created perfectly. We can see the beauty of this waterfall up close or sit and look at the waterfall from the viewpoint on the top of the mountain. No matter which angle you look at it from, it feels great. For Preto Lor Su in the rainy season, the hiking here is a path through the villagers' farms. As we walk through the farms, we will have an adventure with mud ponds and clear streams that alternately are both refreshing and slippery. It's so much fun. There is probably no place more suitable for tricking friends into hiking than here. Then the path will cut into the forest to head to our campsite for the night. On the first day of the trip, we arrived at the campsite early. We planned to conquer the heart-shaped waterfall in the afternoon. The path from the campsite to the heart-shaped waterfall is very challenging for new hikers. We had to pass many checkpoints, such as crossing a bamboo bridge over the cliff of the waterfall, climbing a rope, and walking through the forest. Before conquering the waterfall, the path is steep and slippery, so we must be very careful. For those who love challenges, this route is the answer to life's challenges. After passing all the levels, we found a heart-shaped waterfall. It's like a picture in an imaginary sketchbook. It's like a land in a fairy tale. It's so beautiful, a million times beautiful. The mist that hit our faces made all the fatigue disappear in an instant. After admiring the beauty of the waterfall, we quickly went back to play in the water at the camp. The water was very cold and refreshing. We soaked our legs to relieve the pain. There are many bathrooms here. In the room, there is water from the waterfall for us to use to do our business. After finishing all the missions, we sat down to eat and chat with friends. We planned to conquer the peak of Doi Mamuang Sam Muen. We prepared food for breakfast and lunch the next day so that we wouldn't waste time. We finished planning and met up tomorrow at 5 am. The alarm clock rang. Friends, get ready. The meeting point for breakfast is done. We started walking up to conquer the peak. The route from the camp to the peak of Doi Mamuang Sam Muen in the beginning is quite steep. Today, we walked empty-handed. We only had food and water, so we weren't too tired. Some parts of the route are cliffs and we had to pull ropes. We had to be careful. In the morning, the fog was thick and it was hard to see the path. And then we arrived at the viewpoint of the heart-shaped waterfall. From here, you can see two streams converging to form a heart shape. While sitting and watching the view, you will feel refreshed from the mist flowing through the waterfall view, which is very healing. After resting and recovering from your exhaustion, let's continue to conquer the Ten Thousand Peak. I must say that there are many viewpoints here, starting from the waterfall viewpoint, the Ten Thousand Peak viewpoint, and the Three Thousand Peak viewpoint, which are called one after another. Before reaching the Ten Thousand Peak viewpoint, the path is steep and you have to climb several points, which is very tiring. Finally, we arrived at the Ten Thousand Peak viewpoint, where there is a landmark, a satellite dish. From this point, we can see a view of almost 360 degrees. Let's sit and have lunch here. Let's continue our journey to conquer the peak of Doi Mamuang Sam Muen. The route to the peak of Doi Mamuang Sam Muen is a walk on a mountain ridge where you can see the heart-shaped waterfall all the way. While walking, it didn't rain, but the fog was very thick. Sometimes the sky was clear, and you could see the mountain ridge in front of you, which was embraced by the fog. Hiking here is like being tricked. We have to walk all the way through the fog. We can only see a little bit of the path because of the fog. During the walk in the morning, the air was cool and comfortable. Sometimes, it rained lightly, which was refreshing for everyone. Before reaching the top of Doi Mamuang, we will see a green grass hill, a cliff with a wide grass field and fog running towards us, it feels very good. And then we arrived at the top of Doi Mamuang Sam Muen, where there are three piles of rocks lined up close together. We took pictures as a memory with our friends, rested for a while, and then walked back to the camp. Today we walked back to the camp a bit early, had time to sit and talk, exchange stories and experiences of hiking with our friends. It is considered another place of memories for us.
