Wat Tha Sung, Uthai Thani

Wat Tha Sung, a famous and beautiful temple in Uthai Thani Province, developed and became well-known when Phra Ratcha Maha Wira Thawaro (Luang Pho Ruesi Ling Dam), a famous monk, built many buildings. The highlight is the Glass Temple, which enshrines a replica of Phra Buddha Chinnarat and the body of Luang Pho Ruesi Ling Dam that does not decay. The Golden Palace is decorated with dazzling gold and was built with exquisite craftsmanship. The Golden Palace is built with brick and plaster, decorated with Thai patterns, covered with gold leaf and glass. It is used as a place to enshrine Buddha images that relatives and devotees donated outside the castle. Gold leaf is used to cover the castle.
