So, I would like to present you with classic places to eat, places to visit, and lovely people. 👇 📌 Sa Kae Krang Riverside Market is a municipal fresh market that opens in 2 periods: morning and evening. In the morning, it opens from early morning to late morning. In the evening, it opens from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., no later than 7 p.m. This market sells fresh meat, fresh fish, food/desserts that the villagers make themselves and sell at very cheap prices. If you come to this market, I can tell you that you will get change for 500 baht. 🤩 📌 Sa Kae Krang Square is an activity square and a resting point by the water. You can feed the fish and enjoy the view on both sides of the Sa Kae Krang River. At this point, you can see Wat Uposatharam (Wat Bot), an ancient and important temple that has been a part of Uthai Thani for more than 250 years. ⛪ 🚤 Take a boat to see the way of life of the Sa Kae Krang River raft community. It is the last raft community in Thailand. Their occupation is freshwater fishing. Raising fish in cages, making dried fish, salted fish, and growing floating vegetables, etc. 🐟 🛶 Offering alms to monks on the water is another activity organized by the municipality every Saturday and Sunday to give tourists the opportunity to experience the traditional way of life of Uthai Thani people. Monks who receive alms will row a boat across from Wat Bot. 🏣 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's Palace, which was built with her own funds, is located at 905 Si Uthai Road, Uthai Mai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Uthai Thani Province. 🛍️ Walking Street, Trok Rong Ya, opens every Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It was originally a community of Chinese people and was a legal source of opium smoking. Therefore, the locals called this alley "Trok Rong Ya". Later, the area was transformed into a walking street in the middle of Uthai Thani. 🍞 Phaiphan's original custard-filled bread is made and sold daily. If you want to eat it, you have to call to reserve in advance.
