Wat Phra Borommathat Tung Yang or Wat Phra Borommathat is located in the middle of Tung Yang Subdistrict Municipality, Tung Yang Subdistrict, Laplae District, Uttaradit Province. It is an ancient temple enshrining the great relic of Tung Yang City, an ancient city since before the Sukhothai period. The surrounding area also has a Buddhist school teaching monks and a kindergarten and primary school for the children of villagers in the province.
