[Over Finland] Aurora from an airplane

This is a photo from when I went to England via Finland. I had looked it up beforehand and found out that I might be able to see the Northern Lights on the flight to Finland, so I booked seats AB on the plane. I had a gyudon (beef bowl) at Haneda Airport as my last Japanese meal, but my first meal on the plane was sukiyaki!! It was delicious!! I was told that the Northern Lights might be visible between 1am and 3am, but before I knew it, I was fast asleep. The information said that the flight attendant would tell me, but there was no announcement. I woke up around 2:30am and looked outside, and saw a green haze. I squinted and it was the Northern Lights!! I was so happy because I never thought I would be able to see them! The flight attendant even said that it was rare to see them so clearly, and they were so beautiful! AB seats are recommended for Japan → Finland EF is recommended for Finland → Japan! The time is between 1am and 3am! Seeing the Northern Lights in the warmth of a plane is a bit different, but I recommend it! #air travel #couple trip #great view #airplane #aurora #Finland #777
