One of My Top 3 Attractions in Vienna - Kunsthistorisches Museum

The Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna is located in the bustling city center. If your hotel is also in the central area, you might be able to reach the museum on foot. The moment you step into the grand hall, you can feel the overwhelming sense of art and grandeur! On the left side of the hall, there is a cloakroom and lockers for visitors to store their belongings, as large backpacks are not allowed inside the museum. The lockers accept €1 or €2 coins, which will be refunded when you retrieve your items after the visit. The museum houses numerous galleries with a wide variety of exhibits, including sculptures, crafts, historical artifacts, and paintings. Each gallery is designed and lit according to its theme! The exhibits are so captivating that I lost count of how many galleries I visited. Among them, the exquisite crafts fascinated me the most. It’s incredible to think that in an era with less advanced technology and tools, such intricate and aesthetically pleasing designs were created. These left a deep impression on me. Since I planned to spend a few hours exploring the museum, I brought a bottle of water with me. However, shortly after entering, a staff member approached me and informed me that water bottles are not allowed inside. Instead of asking me to leave or discard the bottle, the staff member politely handed me a paper bag and asked me to place the bottle inside. With the bottle in the bag, I was allowed to continue my visit!
