Enjoy seafood in a resort atmosphere in the port city of Vung Tau

Vung Tau is about two hours away from Ho Chi Minh City by speedboat, bus, or limousine. As it is a port town, the seafood is fresh and very reasonably priced. It is close enough to be visited as a day trip, but this time I stayed overnight at a resort and spa. I had booked a cheap hotel in the city, but the hotel upgraded my room to a high-class one on the hill. It was a resort condominium with a jacuzzi bath and a kitchen. Well, when I arrived, there was a sign posted on the entrance of the hotel I had booked...I was a bit scared though. For lunch, the hotel picked me up to a seafood restaurant at the port. They lent me a cell phone to contact the shuttle bus. The restaurant I was shown served both raw oysters and sashimi. I finished off with oyster rice porridge - it was so filling. After eating, I relaxed in the hotel pool and enjoyed the resort atmosphere. On the way back, I took a limousine arranged by the hotel. After being picked up at the hotel, they took me to the meeting point. There are a lot of tourists moving between Ho Chi Minh and Vung Tau, so even if you are coming from Ho Chi Minh, they will take you from the bus stop to the hotel.
