New Zealand’s glacier gamble, but still lost

Embarrassing~ ✅Franz Josef Glacier Walk. This trail is actually quite long, but fortunately there is a parking lot halfway along the trail. If you have time and energy, you can walk to the end. We only walked to Sentinel Rock Walk, and it took at most half an hour to walk to the parking lot. It’s really shocking when the glaciers slowly appear over the rainforest! At first, the glacier's tongue extended all the way out of the canyon, but now it has retreated to the mountainside due to global warming. … 🏔️Fox Glacier I originally wanted to take the ❌Fox Glacier Valley Walk, the car can drive halfway. But who knew that the road seemed to be closed due to landslides. New Zealanders have no intention of cultivating 😂 ➡️I decided to take the Fox Glacier South Side walk (start point) on the spur of the moment. This hiking trail is really a bit of a “hole”. The one-way trip to the first observation deck takes more than 1 hour, and then when the weather is bad...it seems awkward~~it seems like it’s the end of the road. It will take 2 hours, forget it in this weather 😂 But there is a 🌿 rainforest trail about one or two kilometers halfway. When the weather is nice, the light and shadow are beautiful, and it should be nice to take pictures~ … ✅Fox Glacier Viewpoint / Te Kopikopiko O Te Waka (Picture 8), you can drive directly to it and overlook the Fox Glacier. Although it is really far away, I can see the whole picture, but the weather is gray, maybe the snow-capped mountains are evaporating in the sun.
