The flight lasts about 10 to 15 minutes, during which you can admire the expansive view of the glacier stretching to the snowy mountains, flying over crevasses, mountain ranges, and glacial lakes—scenery only visible from a helicopter. After landing on the glacier, a professional guide will provide you with the necessary equipment for the glacier adventure, including crampons and ice axes, and give a brief introduction to the glacier and safety precautions. Once geared up, you will step onto the glacier, walk through crevasses and ice caves, and experience the wonder and grandeur of this millennia-old icy world firsthand. This adventure lasts about 1 to 2 hours, during which you can walk on the glacier, take photos, and observe the intricate structures of the ice and snow. The guide will lead you through various glacier landscapes and may even take you to explore some hidden ice caves and crevasses, allowing you to feel the mystery and power of this ancient glacier. From preparation to completion, the entire experience takes about 4-5 hours. We were fortunate to have good weather on the mountain that day, so the helicopter flight was not affected. However, the previous group of tourists was not so lucky. Whether this trip can proceed is entirely dependent on the weather conditions on the mountain, so it is essential to plan to stay in the area for two to three days.
