Tomogashima Island

Tomogashima is a group of uninhabited islands located exactly halfway between Kada in Wakayama City and Awaji Island. It is dotted with ruins that are said to be "like an anime world," and is highly popular among ruin lovers and anime fans. It takes about 20 minutes to arrive from the ferry terminal at Kada Port. By the way, the number of ferries operating is about 6 times a day at peak times. Kada is about 90 minutes by train from the center of Osaka, making it a tourist destination with excellent access. It takes about 20 minutes from Kada to Tomogashima, so you can arrive from Osaka to Tomogashima in about 2 hours. It is also famous as a filming location for the popular anime Summertime Render!!
