Wakayama-The underrated city

While going to Japan, especially Kansai, we mostly think of Osaka, Kyoto or Himeji. But Wakayama is a place that is a hidden gem, it is located just 30 mins down the Kansai airport, when taking both JR or Nankai railway, make sure to travel in the direction away from Osaka. I recommend riding the Tama Tetsudo (Cat Railway) that features cats on its train. Or the Kuroshio Market along the coast where you can find the freshest seafood. If you decide to unwind yourselves in the town, walk to the gorgeous Wakayama castle and enjoy the scenic view of the city.#wakayama #osaka #japan
