Lake Carezza

#OverseasTravel My husband and I were a little skeptical because it was 3 hours away by train, but it was 100% worth it. We stayed overnight in Bolzano (the best city) and took the 180 bus from the bus stop (down the road from the train station) to the lake. We had no idea which bus to take or where to get off, but the bus driver was very friendly when we asked him :) For those who are curious or planning to go, here is what we did in detail: We took the train to Bolzano Pozan station, got off the train, and went straight to the bus stop (3 minutes walk across the street, take a left). We bought our bus tickets at the bus stop. Just tell them you are going to Lago de Carezza. Tickets are about 8 euros each. The 180 bus will take you there. We had to change buses at Ponte Nova, so make sure to let them know if you need to change or not. The bus stop is literally at the lake. There are a few clean cafes and bathhouses outside. There is an underground connection to the lake next to the cafe. A 20-30 minute walk around the lake. You can buy a bus ticket to go back to the bus right in front of the lake.
