A quick 17-minute high-speed train ride will take you to Wenchang Station. From there, a 40-minute taxi or car ride will bring you to the picturesque beach depicted in the photos. The ever-changing scenery outside your window will serve as a prelude to your journey. ### Breathtaking Scenery Qishui Bay Beach is a wild, untouched beach where the ocean reveals its raw, untamed beauty. Waves roll in one after another, crashing against the shore with a soothing rhythm. Numerous food stalls line the beach, offering a chance to savor authentic Hainanese cuisine and tantalize your taste buds. The shallow waters are perfect for swimming, and a natural shallow pool, cleverly enclosed by reefs, awaits, like a natural swimming pool crafted by nature itself. Currently, in August, the entire island of Hainan is bathed in sunshine. In fact, good weather is the key to experiencing the mesmerizing glass-like sea. On sunny days, the water becomes crystal clear, resembling glass, and its beauty is simply breathtaking. On cloudy days, the water loses its vibrant blue and transparent hues. From 6:00 to 8:00 am, as the sun gently rises and casts its soft glow upon the sea, you can capture photos of the glass-like waters just like mine. From 7:00 to 7:30 pm, the sunset paints the sky in a kaleidoscope of colors, reflecting off the ocean, creating an enchanting spectacle. ## Exploring Glass-Like Seas Around Wenchang Wenchang's surroundings offer numerous spots where you can witness the same glass-like sea, all with free admission. If you're driving from Haikou to Wenchang, consider these must-visit destinations, listed from nearest to farthest: ### Huwei Bay This is where Wang Hedi filmed the variety show "Fifty Kilometers of Peach Blossom Pier" in Hainan. Huwei Bay features two bays, each with its own distinct charm. One bay is particularly interesting, allowing you to drive directly to the shore (an SUV is recommended for navigating the terrain). Imagine driving right up to the ocean's edge, experiencing an intimate encounter with the sea, as the refreshing sea breeze carries the scent of the ocean, invigorating your senses. ### Windmill No. 1 Beach As you drive along the coastal road, it feels like a natural film set. You can stop at any point to capture stunning road trip photos. Large windmills stand tall along the shore, and although half have been removed, the remaining ones create a picturesque scene against the backdrop of blue skies, white clouds, and the vast ocean. Recently, this spot has become a popular location for capturing the Milky Way. As night falls and the stars emerge, the giant windmills intertwine with the brilliant Milky Way, forming a mystical and captivating tableau. ### Baohujiao Baohujiao boasts a unique jellyfish-shaped lighthouse standing proudly in the sea, resembling a guardian of the ocean.
