There is a saying: Zhuge Liang divided the world into three parts, and Liu Bowen unified the world. Liu Bowen's real name was Liu Ji. He was from Qingtian, Zhejiang, which is now Nantian, Wencheng. He was born in the Yuan Dynasty, passed the imperial examination and served in politics. However, he felt that the Yuan Dynasty had run its course, so he resigned from his official position and retired. In 1360, the 50-year-old Liu Ji became Zhu Yuanzhang's aide. He came up with many brilliant ideas and made great contributions to the establishment of the Ming Dynasty. Later he was appointed Chief Censor and granted the title of Earl of Chengyi. He retired to Qingtian and died in 1675. In film and television dramas, Liu Bowen was suspected by Zhu Yuanzhang in his later years and died of depression. Liu Bowen's predictions about the Ming Dynasty were later fulfilled. After his death, the "Song of the Baked Bun" which has been passed down to this day is still studied by people! After Liu Bowen passed away, his descendants built a Chengyi Bo Temple in Qingtian and offered incense and sacrifices to him. Liu Bowen's admonition to "establish virtue, establish merit, and establish words" has also become the family motto passed down by Liu's descendants to this day. Chengyibo Temple, commonly known as Liu Ji Temple, is now a national key cultural relic protection site. The architectural style is standard western Zhejiang wooden structure, and "Yiyun Yuanxun" also summarizes Liu Bowen's life of strategizing and making contributions to the world. Hence, it has the reputation of being "admired for thousands of years". The shrine is paved with stones, simple yet orderly, just like the simplicity yet elegance of the Chengyi Bo.
