The people of Taizhou are really good at keeping secrets! There's such a hidden gem here.

It's definitely a great place to escape the summer heat. The entire mountain is hollowed out with numerous caves, and there are even adorable pandas! Address: Changyu Stone Cave, Wenling, Taizhou Hours: 7:30 am–5 pm Transportation: Take the high-speed train to Wenling Station, then take a taxi or the "Changyu Dongtian Tourist Loop Line" bus directly to the scenic area. Duration: 3.5 hrs Suggested Itinerary: Route: Guanyi Cave - Panda House - Shuangmen Cave - Shuiyun Cave - Jingming Cave Highlights: 1. Guanyi Cave The first stop in the scenic area. There's a music hall inside, and the entire cave is quite large. Walk up the steps to the top of the mountain for an overlooking view of the caves. 2. Shuiyun Cave The rock walls seep water year-round, making the cave floor damp, so be careful when visiting. The steps are long and a bit steep. Here you can see many types of rocks and learn about the quarrying process of the past. 3. Jingming Cave Having learned about the history of Master Baici building the Buddhist caves beforehand, I felt a greater sense of reverence during my visit. The continuous chanting in the temple brought a rare sense of peace to my heart.
