Free kid-friendly spot in Wenzhou Eye Valley! The kids loved it, but I just wanted to run!

Yaoxi Zhongxiu Garden All of which are highly recommended places to take your kids on the weekend! If you're interested, you can check out my previous articles!! Today, I went to Longwan Eye Valley. Attached is a guide to Longwan Eye Valley for family outings (including things to note). 📍 Location: Wenzhou Longwan Eye Valley (for specific navigation, search for "Eye Valley Town" or "Chasing the Wind Water Sports Center". The children's play facilities are located north of the Chasing the Wind Water Sports Center, see picture 10 for reference). There are a small number of parking spaces nearby. The advantage of this place is that it's FREE and not crowded. There were only a few people there when I went on Labor Day. The disadvantage is that it's too sunny! 🌟 Recommended activities: 1. Free children's playground - Slides, sand pit, climbing frames, seesaws, windmills, etc., suitable for young children to release their energy. - Note: It is recommended to bring your own sand digging tools, as there may not be any for sale on site. 2. Kayaking experience - Kayaking is available in some areas (you need to confirm whether there is a charge and the opening hours, it is recommended to call in advance to inquire). 3. Camping and picnic - You can set up tents and picnic mats on the open lawn, but there is no shade, so it is recommended to go in the morning or evening. 4. Fishing 🎣 - There are many fish in the river, of all sizes, which are clearly visible. Bring a fishing net and a fishing rod, and you will definitely catch something! ⚠️ Important notes: - Sun protection! Sun protection! Sun protection! - There is almost no shade in the entire area, so you need to prepare: sun hat, sunscreen, sun protective clothing, sunglasses, and it is recommended to bring a tent or awning. - The children's playground equipment may be hot after being exposed to the sun, so check it before letting your children play. - Heatstroke prevention measures - Avoid midday hours (11:00–3:00pm), bring plenty of drinking water, a small fan, or cooling spray. - Pay attention to children's dehydration and take breaks in time. - Other preparations - There are few commercial facilities nearby, so it is recommended to bring your own snacks, wet wipes, and trash bags. - There is no dedicated person to supervise the children's playground, so parents need to accompany their children at all times. 📌 Tips: - If you want to experience kayaking, check in advance whether you need to make a reservation or if there are group activities. - It is more comfortable to play in the evening, and you can also enjoy the sunset.
