“Banphot Witthaya School” is located at Ban Pha Tang, Por Subdistrict, Wiang Kaen District, Chiang Rai Province, not far from the Hong-Ngao Watershed Management Unit, another place to see the Himalayan cherry blossoms. The way up is the same as Phu Chi Fa. On the road in front of the school, there are Himalayan cherry blossoms all over the roadside, and they bloom only once a year in winter, during January-February. During that time, there are many tourists who come to admire the Himalayan cherry blossoms. To travel to see the Himalayan cherry blossoms at Banphot Witthaya School, you have to park your car downstairs. Nearby, there will be a pickup truck waiting for tourists. Everyone must sit in the back of the pickup truck up the mountain to the school. The fare up and down is 20 baht per person. When you go up to the front of the school, you will see booths selling goods and various photo spots that the school has set up to welcome tourists. There is a colorful school sign that everyone who comes here must take a photo at this spot. There is also a red torii gate, a bamboo balcony, and a Chinese-style entrance gate.
