[Germany] Würzburg

#AbsolutelyFreeTrip I took a day trip to Würzburg. Würzburg is located in the Franconia region of Bavaria, and is the northern starting point of the Romantic Road, a well-known tourist route in Germany. The town's churches and cathedrals still retain their original appearance. The Neumünster Church, the headquarters of Catholicism, was built in the 18th century as the headquarters of the religious order. The Würzburg Dom, with its two prominent towers, is the city's most famous Catholic church. It was built in the 11th century, and its spire is 105m high. It enshrines a saint who spread Christianity. The white building near the Dom, the Grafenechert, which looks like a church spire, is the Würzburg City Hall. The red and white building is the Maria Chapel. It is a Gothic-style chapel with a distinctive red-decorated facade. Cross the stone bridge to head to Marienberg Fortress. After climbing the stairs and going through the gate, you will come to an observation deck with a panoramic view of the city, so be sure to go up there. The streetscape lined with brick-colored historical buildings is beautiful. And the highlight is the Würzburg Residence (palace). The Staircase Hall, Mirror Hall, Emperor's Hall, White Hall, and Green Hall are all magnificent and full of things to see! #Trip to Germany
