It’s really not a tourist attraction. I accidentally stayed in the Jiangnan water town in my dream.

This weekend I escaped from the city again and went to Wuxi with my little sisters. I went to see the red-billed gulls in Yuantouzhu and ate Wuxi steamed dumplings. We also stayed in a Song-style hotel with Jiangnan charm. The large villa that lives by the water can actually be entered by rowing boat. While visiting Xuelang Lake, I looked at the waterscape courtyard with white walls and black tiles🏡, It feels like being in a Jiangnan ink painting. This place really fulfills all my fantasies about the Jiangnan water town. I stayed in a one-bedroom villa near the river🏡. The room is very high, with a courtyard on the first floor and a balcony facing the lake and water view on the second floor. You can see the beautiful scenery when you push the window. After taking a bath at night, sleeping with the water on your pillow is so chill. Check-in at this hotel is also very particular and full of ritual. There will be an attendant who will clean your hands and serve tea🍵, and then take you into the room after touring the park. The hotel offers a wide range of activities including singing bowls, yoga and fitness. In the afternoon, I made an appointment with my sister for a singing bowl therapy session, which was so comfortable that I fell asleep💤. I heard from the housekeeper that the design of the hotel is inspired by local cultural elements such as the Eight Scenic Spots of Taihu Lake, Donglin Academy, Xuelang Mountain, and Plum Garden, so when you walk in the hotel, you can see each scene step by step. The autumn colors are still very rich now, the red maple leaves🍁yellow ginkgo🍂 and the window scenery🪟 are really amazing. There is also a red metasequoia forest and reeds beside the lake, which is very beautiful to take pictures. If you come in summer, you can still see lotus flowers on 🈵Lake🪷. It would be really envious to sit on a rowing boat to enjoy the flowers. Surrounding attractions: ❶Sunac Paradise/Sea World/Water World/Rexue Miracle/Xuelang Mountain Scenic Area are all on the opposite side of the hotel ❷Nanquan Old Street is very close to the hotel. Wuxi Old Street has not been commercialized. It is very short and you can walk around at will. ❸ Yuantouzhu, this season is the best time to watch Siberian red-billed gulls. The sunset over the orange sea and the flying seagulls are so beautiful. 1️⃣ Must go ❹Taihu Catholic Church, next to Gonghu Bay Wetland Park, is really European, and it’s so photogenic. When the weather is good, the reflection on the lake is beautiful
