Hui Shan Ancient Town

Hui Shan Ancient Town is located in the west of Liangxi District, Wuxi City, covering an area of 3.5 square kilometers, with a core area of 1.09 square kilometers. Its history can be traced back to the Huishan Temple built in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Gardens and ancestral halls were built next to the temple during the Tang, Ming, and Qing Dynasties, forming Hui Shan Ancient Town. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Xihui Park was developed and built. In 2017, Xihui Park and the original Hui Shan Ancient Town were merged to form Hui Shan Ancient Town Scenic Area. The Wuxi branch of the Spring Festival Gala gave Hui Shan Ancient Town a "new look."
