Second stop of our winter vacation: Wuyi Mountain, Nanping. As the attractions are scattered, we stayed for 3 nights and booked a family room at Peninsula Holiday Hotel in Sangu Resort Area on Trip.com. Food: There are two breakfast shops near the hotel, with a wide variety of food. The prices are slightly higher, for example, a boiled egg costs CNY 3, but not too expensive. The restaurants on the nearby old street have clearly marked prices. Shopping and dining are very convenient. Accommodation: Peninsula Holiday Hotel is newly decorated. The parking lot is small, and there are usually no parking spaces after dinner, but the security guard will help you find a parking space on the roadside. The room rate is cheap in the off-season. The rooms are large and well-lit. Transportation: Day 1: Shenxianju - Wuyi Mountain, check in to the hotel. Day 2: Buy a 2-day ticket for the shuttle bus at the visitor center in the morning, climb Tianyou Peak in the morning, and take a bamboo raft on Jiuqu Stream in the afternoon. Tianyou Peak is not high, but it is relatively steep. You can see the most beautiful Jiuqu Stream on the way. We ate the popular ice cream after reaching the top. The child likes to take the bamboo raft the most. The water flow is slow in winter, and the whole journey takes 2 hours. Don't forget to buy more fish food and bring a small fishing net, so the child won't be bored, and we can enjoy the scenery and take photos with peace of mind. You must also pay the CNY 20 explanation fee. The boatman will explain all the way and help take photos. Day 3: Huxiao Rock and Yixian Sky in the morning, have lunch at Song Street in Wuyi Palace, and go to Rock Valley Fragrance Trail, Dahongpao, and Water Curtain Cave in the afternoon. Song Street is a food and shopping street. There is a stream on the roadside to Dahongpao, with tea gardens and strange peaks and rocks on both sides. There is no water in Water Curtain Cave in winter. You can feed pigeons. The pigeon food costs CNY 10 per small bag, which is very expensive, but the child likes it, so we have no choice. The rocks on the back mountain of Sanxian Temple are very spectacular. Day 4: Yulinting Kiln Site and Ruiyan Temple, drive to Xiapu in the afternoon. Yulinting is much larger than the dragon kiln in Yaoli Raonan, and there is a small Song Bridge. There are not many people, so you can visit the exhibition hall quietly, climb to the top along the steps beside the dragon kiln, and observe the structure of the ancient kiln carefully. There are many tea tree terraces on the roadside to Ruiyan Temple. The temple is newly built and looks beautiful in photos. There is vegetarian food at noon, coffee at the entrance, and peacocks and pigeons. The pigeon food costs CNY 2 per bag. The child fed the pigeons again and was very happy!
