We spent the first two days of this trip touring Nanchang. We visited the Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall (reservation required) to learn about the history of the Nanchang Uprising. We also went to the Wanshou Palace Commercial Street for dinner and a walk. There were a lot of people and it was very lively. The next morning, we took a taxi to the town of Lucerne, a residential area modeled after Swiss architecture. After lunch, we went to visit the new building of Jiangxi Provincial Museum. On the third day, we took the high-speed rail from Nanchang to Wuyuan. Due to heavy rain, we could only have dinner near the hotel and rest early to prepare for sightseeing in Huangqi and Likeng tomorrow. On the fourth day, we booked a one-day chartered tour to Huangling, Wuyuan, Jiangxi on TRIP.COM. We set off at 10 o'clock and went to Huangling first. We originally hoped to see rape flowers, but due to the cold weather this year, only a small part of the flowers were in bloom. However, Huangling itself is also worth visiting. The antique style of the entire scenic area is in harmony with the Anhui-style ancient village architecture. There are not many people, so you can appreciate it slowly and relax. Afterwards, we went to Likeng, strolled along the small bridges and flowing water, and enjoyed the peaceful rural scenery. As the temperature started to drop and it started to rain yesterday, we originally planned to go to Wunuzhou in the evening, but in the end we had to cancel it because it was too cold. On the morning of the fifth day, I took the high-speed rail from Wuyuan to Changsha. I went to Changsha because I didn’t want to take the high-speed rail directly from Wuyuan back to Hong Kong, as it would take almost 8 hours. Changsha was a stopover, so I also wanted to see if it was worth going there. The weather in Changsha was colder than that in Wuyuan, and it was windy and rainy. Since we only had one day in Changsha, we went to Orange Island in the rain and ate crayfish at Juwei Quji in the evening. Day 6: In the morning, we visited Yuelu Academy and Aiwan Pavilion. The park is very large, so we only visited these two parts because we had to catch the high-speed train back home.
