Wuyuan Travel Guide | Girls' Trip to Wuyuan | A Stunning Wuyuan Journey After seeing photos of Wuyuan from friends, I was captivated by its beauty. Finally, I made it here with my best friend. We hadn't traveled together for three years, so we were super excited. Besides Wuyuan, we also visited Huangshan. Before departure, we discussed and decided to rent a car from eHi. It's more convenient when traveling with friends, and the rental price was reasonable. After arriving in Wuyuan, we picked up the car and started our journey. After exploring Wuyuan, we visited Huangshan, Hongcun, and other places. Let me start with Jianglin. Since we booked our accommodation there, we took time to explore the area. Jianglin is quite a popular spot on social media. Besides independent travelers, there were many tour groups, making it quite crowded. This slightly affected the experience, but it was still worth visiting since we were already there. Huangling is a great attraction. It's about a 45-minute drive from Jianglin, with beautiful scenery along the way. Though the entrance fee is quite expensive at 170 yuan, we enjoyed taking the cable car - something we hadn't done in a while. Even though it's winter now, we could still appreciate the famous "sun-dried autumn" scenery. The alleys in Huangling are very narrow, so watch your step while walking. Next, we headed to Hongcun. Although we've seen many ancient villages, Hongcun remains my favorite. The scenery is stunning - waking up in the morning feels like stepping into a traditional Chinese landscape painting. If time allows, I recommend staying overnight in Hongcun. The village isn't large; you can explore it leisurely in 5-6 hours. As for Huangshan, it's Anhui's most famous attraction. Previously, I would have definitely skipped it as I was too lazy to climb mountains. But now that I've fallen in love with exercise, mountain climbing has become an interesting and worthwhile experience. That's why we specifically included Huangshan in our itinerary.
