Xi'an Chanba Sheraton: The Perfect Staycation Destination

I invited a friend to Xi'an, and the day after the Delta scare, we checked in to the Chanba Sheraton. I contacted the GSM three days in advance to lock in a suite, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. 🕹️Location The location of the Chanba Sheraton is a disaster for tourists, but it has its own unique audience: concert-goers and locals on staycations. 🛏️In Room We arrived at the hotel at around 4pm, and the room was ready. To be honest, the layout of this suite is quite ordinary, with no outstanding highlights. However, the Sheraton's refreshed decor style is really great, not only distinguishing it from other Marriott brands, but also making it feel more like home, which makes it more cozy to stay in. To the left of the entrance is the guest bathroom, and further in is the living room and dining room. The area is not small, but it feels very cozy. To the right is the cloakroom, bathroom, and master bedroom. The overall connectivity is a little lacking. The only thing to complain about is that the faucet of the sink is on the side, which is very inconvenient to use. 🍽️Dining The dining at Chanba Sheraton is so good that it doesn't feel like a Sheraton at all. It gives you the illusion of being in a Grand Hyatt, which is really great! It is definitely the top of the line in Xi'an's Marriott dining scene (except for the 🌰 I haven't stayed at). The hh selection is not abundant, and is not even as abundant as the Serre, but every seemingly ordinary dish tastes amazing. The chicken meatballs are light and refreshing, making you want to eat one after another. The cold chicken gizzards are also eaten one bowl after another, and even the oranges are peeled and arranged nicely. Breakfast is also a surprise. Almost everything in the baking area is great. The puff pastries are better than Holiland's. There is a sausage puff that is amazing! The noodle shop is connected to the main restaurant during breakfast hours as a noodle stall, and the noodles served are no less delicious than those from an outside noodle restaurant, and there are many types to choose from. 🛠️Facilities The hotel facilities are very good. The hardware is new and the decoration is cozy. The high-altitude swimming pool is a great experience, and the gym is also very large. The underground parking is convenient and the entrance is close. I really didn't find any problems with the facilities, after all, it is a new hotel. 💁‍♀️The Moments There were still some small episodes. When I parked at the drop-off lobby, I wanted the concierge to take my luggage before parking in the underground garage. As a result, this concierge didn't move like a grandpa. I honked the horn three times before he strolled over like a grandpa. He reluctantly pushed the luggage cart, which really pissed off everyone in the car. I got out of the car and reported the situation to the GSM. The first sentence was that this was not an employee of our hotel, which immediately infuriated me. Fortunately, the attitude was okay later. I got everything a member should have, and the suite was locked in a few days in advance. I just said to investigate and give an explanation. Later, I went to hh and ate a few bites and calmed down. 🌟Conclusion With its excellent dining and newly renovated hardware facilities, the Chanba Sheraton has become the undisputed first choice for staycations.
