Xiaoxitian | The Three Realms and Four Continents in the Song of Black Myth: Wukong

Because of a song from Black Myth: Wukong, I was inspired to visit the world of the Western Paradise imagined by Huang Mei. If it weren't for Black Myth: Wukong, I would have missed this beautiful Chinese treasure. Suspending clay sculptures in the air requires a high level of skill, and the suspended sculptures in Xiaoxitian are large, exquisitely shaped, complex yet orderly. There are five niches in the main hall, each representing a world. The Four Heavenly Kings, Eight Vajras, Ten Disciples, Twelve Musicians, and over 2,000 deities and Buddhas were completed over 30 years. The largest statue is over 3 meters tall, while the smallest can fit in the palm of your hand. The aftertaste of Xiaoxitian is too strong. The BGM of "Three Realms and Four Continents, No Desire, No Salvation" keeps looping in my mind. Tips 1. The main hall of Xiaoxitian faces east, and sunlight can enter the hall before 9:30 am, making it easier to see. 2. The scenic area opens at 8 am in winter, so it's best to go early! There are fewer people in the main hall, so you can take your time. 3. Free incense is provided inside, so you don't need to bring incense up the mountain. 4. To reach Xiaoxitian, you need to climb a long, continuous staircase that can only accommodate two people. Those with mobility issues should be careful.
