His explanations of Labrang Monastery’s prayer corridor, Zhagana’s secret routes, and Langmusi’s cultural stories were vivid and insightful. Even more surprisingly, he used a drone throughout the trip to capture many videos and photos for us, each one a stunning shot that blew up my social media. The vehicle was also excellent—a spacious and comfortable SUV that handled Gannan’s complex road conditions smoothly.
