Ningbo Xiangshan Xinqiao "Little Potala Palace Hidden in the Mountains"

Baiyan Mountain is located in Gaowan Village and Shizhuli Village, Xinqiao Town, Xiangshan County. The mountain is beautiful. From a distance, the mountain looks like Maitreya Buddha sitting on a white cliff, with eyes, eyebrows, and two hands with five fingers placed on the knees. The mountain wall is steep, and the houses are faintly visible. Locals call it the "Little Potala Palace." According to the "Xiangshan County Place Names": "Baiyan Mountain is about 380 meters high and is named after the white rocks." Surrounded by mountains, it is quiet and secluded. A winding mountain road starts from Shizhuli Village and looks like a white dragon, winding and stretching all the way to Bailong Temple. From Bailong Temple, the peaks are steep and the clouds and mist are swirling. Jingwuzhai is located on the top of Baiyan Mountain in Xinqiao, Xiangshan, at an altitude of 388 meters. From Bailong Temple on the mountainside to Jingwuzhai on the top of the mountain, it integrates Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, forming a small-scale building complex. Standing on the top of the mountain and looking down, there are mountains on one side and the sea on the other, which is quite spectacular. Navigation: Xiangshan Xinqiao Baiyan Mountain Jingwuzhai The mountain road is five kilometers long, and it takes 20 minutes to drive. The mountain road is winding, and all are gravel roads. Be sure to drive slowly and steadily (pictures 2 and 3). 🅿️Parking: It is recommended to park on the large platform of Bailong Temple and walk hundreds of meters to Jingwuzhai (picture 4). ⌚️Time: Jingwuzhai is not very big, and you can finish the tour in about an hour.
