Shenxianju is a national 5A-level tourist attraction located in Xianju County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is renowned for having the world's largest cluster of volcanic rhyolite landforms and rich natural and cultural landscapes. The main peak, Daqinggang, stands at 1,271 meters above sea level, with a forest coverage rate of 93%. It was rated as a AAAAA-level scenic area in 2015. A thousand years ago, Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty, Zhao Heng, was awed by this landscape and named it "Xianju" (meaning "Immortal's Abode") with the praise: "A famous mountain surrounded by heavenly grottoes, home to many immortals." Since then, the name "Xianju" has carried imperial significance and mythological legends, becoming Jiangnan's closest secret paradise to "heaven."
